What is PowerFence™?
PowerFence™ is an electric fence perimeter security system, developed and manufactured by Gallagher Security Management Systems a division of Gallagher Group Limited.
PowerFence™ Trophy FT is our electric fence system which is controlled and monitored through Command Centre software. PowerFence™ Trophy 6 and Medal systems are standalone systems.
PowerFence™ systems are sold through a network of Certified Channel Partners throughout the world.

Why retire the PowerFence™ brand?
Gallagher has made a decision to consolidate its brands across its various business units to a single brand in order to build and leverage the reputation of the Gallagher brand globally across all divisions.
We want to present a division which offers a complete security solution from perimeter, through to access control, intruder alarms and beyond.
To do this we need a clear-cut, high level identity umbrella for them to fall under: Gallagher.

Why move to one brand?
The entire Gallagher enterprise is now moving towards a single brand identity, one that will see all our products and regional offices branded Gallagher.
Consolidating to one brand will strengthen the Group as a whole and increase our brand equity.
Instead of a range of differently branded security systems, you will now see a single brand across all products and solutions.
A single brand across Gallagher's security offering will not impact our business structure, but it will simplify and strengthen the way we promote our solutions.

What does it mean for me?
Moving to a single brand will make our communication with you about our broad security offering, simpler and easier to understand.

Will the PowerFence™ brand be replaced?
Yes. We are in the process of changing our PowerFence™ name and logo on our security product to Gallagher. The change will occur over time.

Will the product names change?
Yes. Gallagher Command Centre software is a demonstration of Gallagher R&D and manufacturing strength and is therefore branded Gallagher from version 7 onwards.
To avoid confusion existing products will retain their existing names.
Only the brand will change e.g. Cardax FT Command Centre will become Gallagher Command Centre. -
When will it happen?
We are currently working on changing the PowerFence™ name to Gallagher across all our marketing communications materials and products.
You will see the PowerFence™ name replaced gradually. This is an enormous task, so your patience during this transition is appreciated.
Our next generation of perimeter security systems feature the Gallagher brand.

If you are a Customer, please continue purchasing and maintenance of your system through your current Gallagher Certified Dealer/Installer.

Can I still use the PowerFence™ website?
Our current websites are www.powerfence.com (focussed largely on our product and its applications) and www.gallaghersms.com (our corporate company web site). We are developing a new simplified, user friendly Gallagher website. powerfence.com and gallaghersms.com will remain available until the new site is ready for launch.

As a Channel Partner, how will this affect my day to day business?
Day to day business will not be affected. We are the same business, with the same people, delivering the same product and services.
The transition from PowerFence™ to Gallagher will happen over time, so you will see a mix of PowerFence™ and Gallagher branded communications in the market for some time.
The next time your Channel Partner Agreement is renewed, you will be issued a new Gallagher Channel Partner plaque.
We are working on a wide range of new marketing collateral and a brand tool kit for your reference.
Our focus is to power up the Gallagher brand globally and consistently, to create a significant asset for you to leverage. We are committed to relentlessly redefining what's possible for you and our customers.
